Act as Bloomsbury Institute's Student Advice and Wellbeing Officer. Working as part of a frontline triage team, provide initial information and guidance to students on engagement, finance, academic administration, timetabling and assessment queries. Refer students to relevant support services, deliver weekly pastoral interventions for at-risk students, and develop and deliver activities to improve engagement, achievement, continuation and completion. Contribute to pastoral support and frontline advice services, deliver wellbeing activities, support peer learning and mentoring schemes, and support the Let's Grow employability programme. The role requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent, experience in student advice and support or student services in a higher education setting, experience working in teams and customer service, strong communication and organisational skills, data analysis and Excel skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Salary is £25,980 to £36,480, with 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08.00 to 18.00. The role is based at 7 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3RA. Bloomsbury Institute will not offer sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route for this role.
