The Brandenburg branch is seeking a social pedagogical professional for the Schlaubetal youth team, focusing on youth coordination across the ten localities of the Schlaubetal administrative area. Duties include networking with schools, clubs and municipal stakeholders, initiating and delivering leisure activities and educational projects for children and young people, supporting self-managed youth spaces, advising and accompanying children, adolescents and young adults, supporting volunteers, participating in activities and committees, and cooperating with schools and clubs. Applicants should have a degree in social pedagogy, educator training or comparable qualifications, practical and theoretical knowledge of child and youth work, experience supporting self-managed youth spaces and developing, applying for and accounting for youth work projects, as well as independent, structured, communicative and team-oriented working skills. Flexibility, organisational ability, resilience, motivation to be a reliable contact for young people, willingness to work evenings and weekends, and a category B driving licence are desired. The role offers a secure position with an established social care provider, pay comparable to TVöD SuE EG 8b to 11b, full-time employment of up to 39 hours per week, 30 days of annual leave, training opportunities, occupational pension provision and an experienced team.
