The psychosocial support team assists people whose substance use and accompanying psychiatric conditions affect their independent living. Duties include individual counselling and support for people receiving substitution treatment in specialist practices, at the drug support centre, through outreach and accompaniment, cooperation with treating doctors and other involved institutions and professionals, developing person-centred support plans, and preparing reports, statements, applications and documentation. The role requires a completed degree in education or social work, or an equivalent qualification, a solution and resource-oriented approach, an appreciative attitude, flexible and independent working methods, communication skills, organisational ability and an interest in teamwork. The position offers at least 30 hours per week, extendable to 100 percent, pay comparable to TV-L Berlin S12, flexible family-friendly working hours, regular supervision, team and personal training, 30 days of holiday, and paid leave on 24 and 31 December when these fall on weekdays.
