Join Reed Smith's London Solicitor Apprenticeship programme and begin a legal career without attending university. Years 1 and 2 include rotations through business services, Legal Engineering and Technology teams. Years 3 and 4 involve supporting legal matters as a paralegal across at least two practice or industry groups, with an LL.B. law degree awarded at the end of Year 4. Years 5 and 6 involve rotating through four departments on the trainee programme, with the opportunity for a client or international office secondment. The programme includes structured training, dedicated support, meaningful development opportunities and 20% study time. Applicants must be UK national Year 13 students or school leavers without a degree, be eligible for level 7 apprenticeship funding, have ABB at A-Level or equivalent and at least seven GCSEs at grade 6 or above including Maths and English, and be a UK national or resident in the UK for at least three years before starting. The starting salary is £27,000, increasing annually, with a £2,000 sign-on bonus, 25 days' holiday and employee benefits.
