Duties include selling, preparing and decorating coffee specialities, cakes and other treats, serving guests in a friendly and competent manner, maintaining clean and cost-efficient work practices, implementing sales promotion measures, handling the cash register and table payments, and supporting event preparation and delivery. Applicants should be enthusiastic about coffee, have a natural hosting instinct, ideally have initial service experience in a cafe or restaurant and experience with portafilter machines, and be flexible. A friendly, open manner and good communication skills are required. Experience operating and cleaning portafilter machines and barista training are advantageous.
