SpaceLocker is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong telecommunications background to support commercial and operational teams on telecom-heavy missions. You will lead system-level trade-offs involving communications architectures and mission performance, define and consolidate requirements for RF links, data handling and end-to-end communications, coordinate technical interfaces between payload providers, platform partners and internal engineering teams, support mission architecture from proposal through flight operations, contribute to technical reviews, verification activities and customer interactions, mentor junior systems engineers, and support future developments of SpaceLocker's hosted payload infrastructure. Requirements include an engineering degree with significant systems engineering experience, a strong background in satellite communications, telecommunications or RF systems, experience with complex multidisciplinary engineering projects, familiarity with systems engineering methodologies, requirements management and verification, and fluent English. Experience with institutional or commercial customers is appreciated. The role is based in Paris or Toulouse, France, is full-time and starts as soon as possible. EU citizenship or citizenship of a country listed in the EU General Export Clause 1, except the USA, is required. Compensation is 50,000 to 60,000 EUR before tax, with an additional 10% performance bonus, five weeks of paid vacation and hybrid remote work.
