Support Casa Lil Hawk's 24/7 residential care team and youth residents under the supervision of the Lead Certified SUD Counselor. Assist with group counseling, psychoeducation, assessments, treatment planning, educational and life-skills groups, resident supervision, safety checks, crisis stabilization, documentation, team collaboration, and household and facility tasks. Applicants must have active registration with a DHCS-approved certifying body, at least two years of continuous sobriety if in recovery, a high school diploma with college coursework or training in SUD counseling or behavioral health already begun, and must pass DOJ and FBI background checks and drug screening. Experience with adolescents is preferred. Knowledge of SUD, recovery, adolescent development, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and CBT is required, along with communication, de-escalation, conflict resolution, teamwork, and basic computer skills. Bilingual Spanish, Tagalog, Russian, Chinese, or Vietnamese speakers are strongly preferred. Various full-time and part-time weekday, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts are available. Ongoing training, supervision, and continuing education opportunities are provided.
