Prepare and manage R&D Tax Incentive claims end to end for a portfolio of innovative clients, from identifying eligible activities through to lodging with AusIndustry and the ATO. Responsibilities include assessing eligible R&D activities, preparing registrations and tax schedules, reviewing eligible expenditure, writing technically sound activity descriptions, advising clients on documentation and record keeping, liaising with AusIndustry and the ATO, supporting reviews and audits, keeping across legislative changes and building client relationships. The role requires undergraduate and/or postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Law, Science, Engineering, Computer Science or IT, a strong understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals, around two or more years of Australian R&D Tax Incentive experience or relevant tax or business services experience, excellent technical writing, clear communication and strong attention to detail. Based in North Sydney with hybrid work and a clear path to grow as the R&D practice grows.
