Plans, organises, maintains and coordinates activities that promote the image and understanding of the organisation and its services to the diverse Muslim community. Requirements include relevant public relations experience, with candidates holding A levels, GCSEs, equivalent qualifications or a degree preferred. Further training is provided on the job. Duties include discussing public relations requirements with senior colleagues, preparing and distributing press releases and other materials, addressing the Muslim community through meetings, presentations, media and events, monitoring public relations activities, supporting events and meetings, and delivering campaigns.
