Details.

Work with the Chief Investigator, Project Lead and wider project team on a project assessing artificial intelligence tools in the BreastScreen Victoria environment. The project aims to improve the breast screen image reading process by building infrastructure to evaluate three or more AI tools and conducting real-world clinical evaluations of AI models, including impacts on quality, costs and clients. Responsibilities include developing the project protocol and plan, completing the Human Research and Ethics Committee application, managing and analysing quantitative data, writing reports, recommending next steps, supporting communications and stakeholder management, and supporting future change arising from project recommendations. A PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline is essential, along with demonstrated capacity for independent and team-based research in a population health setting, strong organisational, analytical and communication skills, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to build effective relationships. Experience with artificial intelligence and data analytics, Human Research and Ethics Committee submissions, presentations, conference papers or peer-reviewed publications, and working with clinicians is desirable. The role contributes to research designed to improve breast health outcomes for Victorians and supports an inclusive workplace.
