BreastScreen Victoria is seeking expressions of interest for two independent non-executive director positions on its Board. Board members ensure effective governance, set strategic direction, oversee implementation of strategic objectives and lead organisational culture. Applicants should bring high-level skills, experience and knowledge in governance, strategic expertise, compliance, accounting and finance, legal responsibilities, risk management, people management and change, and not-for-profit population screening. Preferred candidates will have expertise in information technology, digital transformation or digital disruption, or clinical expertise in breast cancer screening or treatment with experience improving client or patient experience. Board members serve three-year terms, with the potential for two further terms, and are expected to participate actively in Board and Committee meetings, induction and training, and at least one Standing Committee.
