An experienced Medical Imaging Technologist with multiple specialist skills, expertise and knowledge, responsible for performing and assisting with radiographic procedures efficiently and accurately, in accordance with diagnostic quality standards, the ALARA principle, and Cabrini's mission and values. The role may lead a specialty modality or modality area, deputise for an Area Manager or Modality Supervisor, supervise and educate students and radiographers, support quality control and assurance programs, provide patient care before, during and after examinations, perform radiographic examinations and special procedures, support interventional procedures, maintain radiation protection standards, assist with appointments and patient preparation, and participate in the on-call service at the Malvern and Brighton campuses. Applicants must hold a degree in Medical Radiations Sciences or an equivalent qualification recognised by ASMIRT, a relevant Certificate of Competence or equivalent, current AHPRA registration, eligibility for ASMIRT accreditation and a current Radiation Use Licence. Extensive experience in one or more specialty modalities and a minimum of 7 years post-graduate qualification are required. Membership of ASMIRT or equivalent, and a proven record in teaching or research, are desirable. The position is located at Malvern and Brighton, with salary and conditions in accordance with the Cabrini Contract of Employment or Employment Agreement.
