Work with the Chief Investigator, Project Lead and wider project team on a project assessing artificial intelligence tools in the BreastScreen Victoria environment. The project aims to improve the breast screen image reading process, build infrastructure for evaluation of three or more AI tools, and conduct real-world clinical evaluation of AI models, including impacts on reading processes, quality, costs and clients. Responsibilities include developing the project protocol and plan, completing Human Research and Ethics Committee applications, managing and analysing quantitative data, report writing, making recommendations, supporting communications and stakeholder management, and contributing to client engagement. The role requires a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline, capacity for independent and team-based research in a population health setting, strong analytical, organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively. Experience with artificial intelligence, data analytics, Human Research and Ethics Committee submissions, clinicians, presentations, conference papers or peer-reviewed publications is also identified.
