Support the Clinical Pharmacy team in ensuring medicines are used safely and efficiently across several GP practices. Duties include helping switch medicines to more cost-effective options, improving repeat prescriptions, promoting online ordering, checking medicine safety systems, responding to alerts, assisting with discharge summaries and medication requests, reviewing medicines with patients, and ensuring national guidelines are followed. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council and completion of a GPhC-approved course, qualification or apprenticeship are required.
