Juno is looking for its first dedicated people team hire to run day-to-day people operations and build scalable systems as the company grows. The role owns new-starter onboarding, pre-employment checks, absence and leave administration, routine employee paperwork and the HR system, Zelt. It involves supporting managers, handling sensitive employee conversations with empathy and sound judgement, building repeatable workflows using AI tools including Claude, identifying automation opportunities, providing light-touch manager training and turning people data into useful insights for leadership. This is a fully remote, hands-on operational role reporting to the General Counsel, with no management responsibilities. Experience using Claude, ChatGPT or similar AI tools to improve operational processes is required. A basic understanding of employment law, experience in a people team or experience in a high-growth environment is helpful but not essential. The role offers £40,000 to £55,000 full-time equivalent depending on experience, with normal full-time hours between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, plus flexibility agreed with the team.
