Support novice nursing students in residential or non-acute placements, prepare patient assignments, facilitate the application of therapeutic and health assessment skills, supervise care for older persons, monitor student progress, foster reflection, communicate with course faculty, and complete clinical evaluations. Applicants require an interest in clinical teaching, 2 to 3 years of current and relevant long-term care, older person care or adult acute care nursing experience, current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse in the Extended Class, and a BScN. Geriatric nursing certification or education, a master's degree, and previous clinical instructing or preceptor experience are assets. The role involves one 8-hour day shift per week for 8 weeks during the Fall 2026 term.
