An experienced Medical Imaging Technologist with multiple specialist skills, expertise and knowledge, responsible for performing and assisting with radiographic procedures efficiently and accurately, in accordance with the ALARA principle and Cabrini's mission and values. The role provides compassionate, competent patient care and quality medical imaging services, leads or deputises in specialist modality areas, supervises and trains staff and students, supports quality control and assurance programs, performs radiographic examinations and special procedures, participates in on-call services at the Malvern and Brighton campuses, and contributes to professional development and continuous improvement. Essential requirements include a degree in Medical Radiations Sciences or equivalent recognised by ASMIRT, a Certificate of Competence or equivalent, current AHPRA registration, eligibility for ASMIRT membership and a Statement of Accreditation or equivalent, a current Radiation Use Licence from the Department of Health, and extensive experience in one or more specialty modalities. The position requires a minimum of 7 years post-graduate qualification experience, with supervisory, teaching and ongoing education responsibilities. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Cabrini Contract of Employment or Employment Agreement.
