BreastScreen Victoria is seeking an IT System Administrator to support and manage data centre infrastructure, virtualised environments, Windows networking, operating systems and related systems. The role provides level 3 IT service desk support, supports new servers and virtual environments, liaises with vendors, administers Microsoft 365, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Microsoft Operations Manager, and contributes to system upgrades, security patching, backup processes and disaster recovery. The position requires planned after-hours work for upgrades and maintenance, and may require unplanned after-hours support for critical incidents. Essential criteria include a tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field, solid experience in data centre management, Windows networking, the VMware suite, Microsoft 365 and backup systems, proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, excellent written skills, a current Victorian driver's licence and the ability to travel to BreastScreen sites.
