Reid Accountants + Advisors is hiring a Human Resources Manager to lead and execute HR functions within a professional accounting firm environment. The role partners with leadership on HR strategy, organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, policies, programs, and best practices. Responsibilities include managing full-cycle recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, new hire orientation, benefits enrollment, performance reviews, employee development, employee relations, engagement initiatives, payroll accuracy oversight, benefits administration, HR records, HRIS systems, compliance audits, time and attendance, PTO tracking, training, professional development, organizational initiatives, and continuous improvement projects. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, 5 to 7 years of progressive HR experience including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role, knowledge of HR principles and employment law, experience in employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration, proficiency in HRIS systems with UKG preferred and Microsoft Office, strong organizational, project management, problem-solving, communication, and confidentiality skills. HR certification or an advanced degree is preferred. This is an on-site role in Woodbury, New York, with a schedule of 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The position offers a competitive salary starting at $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus a commission structure, and supports a healthy work-life balance.
