A 24-month graduate placement for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants who have recently completed their legal studies or are undertaking their Graduate Diploma of Legal Studies. Graduates work across various positions within the Law Reform and Legal Services Division, with opportunities to rotate across multiple positions, complete the practical component of the PLT as part of their employment, and develop areas of interest. The program provides employment support, mentoring and cultural support, and successful participants receive ongoing employment opportunities within the division. Applicants must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage conflicting deadlines, and a willingness to learn on the job. No previous legal work experience is required.
