Taylor Howes is seeking an experienced and dynamic Junior Interior Designer to join its London office. The role provides design and administrative support to the design team across projects, develops project elements under the guidance of a Project Leader, works to agreed timescales, obtains product pricing and details, orders samples, and assists with drawings, presentations and material specifications. Responsibilities also include attending supplier meetings, typing minutes, liaising with suppliers, inputting data, creating social media content, maintaining the studio display fabrics and samples library, assisting with InDesign presentations, Photoshop visualisations, AutoCAD drawings, furniture plans and elevations, and helping create quotations and sales orders. Applicants should have 1 to 2 years of professional design experience, a design degree or diploma from a recognised interior design school or higher education institution, communication skills, some knowledge of FF&E suppliers, experience working on design project elements with guidance, knowledge of AutoCAD or Vectorworks and SketchUp, and competence with Microsoft Office, Macs and Adobe Creative Suite.
