Deliver services that help Aboriginal people over 50 years old live independently at home with dignity, purpose and autonomy. Responsibilities include delivering domestic assistance in-home, providing transport to group sessions and medical appointments, and participating in social support, including group sessions and events. The role offers a supportive and culturally grounded multidisciplinary Aged Care team, ongoing training and development, and the opportunity to build clinical skills while contributing to health and wellbeing outcomes. Applicants must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent. Essential requirements include a current first aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain one upon commencement, a Victorian Working with Children Check, a National Police Check and a Victorian driver's licence. A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification is desirable. The position is based at various locations to serve client needs.
