Provide paediatric services to patients and secondary consultations to the multidisciplinary team and partner agencies. The position is accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians for Advance Training in Community Child Health and is supervised by Staff Paediatricians. Training includes developmental and behavioural paediatrics, community-based multidisciplinary paediatrics and social paediatrics for Community Child Health, or community and developmental training plus non-core training for General Paediatrics. Desirable experience includes working with Aboriginal communities in a health setting and experience in developmental or community paediatrics in an outpatient setting. Medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia, registration as an Advance Trainee of the Australasian College of Physicians and Child Health Division, and accreditation across both Community Child Health and General Paediatrics under the RACP Advanced Training Program are also listed as desirable.
