Lead the development of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics from Nursery to Year 6, ensuring a high-quality, progressive and ambitious curriculum. Responsibilities include designing and implementing a whole-school STEM strategy, developing curriculum content and assessment, promoting real-world STEM applications through projects, clubs, competitions and themed events, building links with secondary schools, STEM industries and academic institutions, and delivering excellent teaching in a STEM subject. The role also includes subject monitoring, analysing attainment and progress data, supporting staff development through coaching and CPD, promoting effective use of technology, and ensuring safe practice, safeguarding and compliance. Applicants should have QTS and a degree-level qualification, experience teaching STEM in KS2, the ability to teach and inspire high-quality learning across STEM subjects, and a commitment to the school’s Catholic ethos and values-led approach.
