Lead Religious Education across the school from EYFS to Year 6, build on existing practice and develop a coherent approach to RE, work with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality in teaching and learning, liaise with the diocesan advisor, contribute to diocesan networks and CPD, maintain and develop the RE action plan, support preparation for Section 48 Catholic Inspections, and teach a class within KS1 or KS2. The successful candidate will be a practising Roman Catholic with Qualified Teacher Status and a degree, strong classroom practice, high expectations, effective communication and organisation skills, and a commitment to the Catholic ethos, professional development and school improvement.
