Based in Rotterdam, the Head of Platforms owns the core platform, infrastructure and reliability, ensuring the foundation for all products is stable, secure and ready to scale. Reporting to the CPTO, the role leads Platform, Database and DevSecOps teams, stabilises and modernises the platform, embeds DevSecOps and Platform Engineering practices, develops internal platform engineering capabilities, and builds modern automated infrastructure. Responsibilities include platform stability and availability, SLOs and SLAs, incident and release management, team leadership, infrastructure as code, observability, security, AI-native engineering enablement and alignment with business and partner value. Applicants should have 8 to 12+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, SRE or related engineering leadership roles in scaling SaaS or PaaS environments, experience with complex high-load platforms, modern cloud infrastructure, DevOps or DevSecOps, observability and reliability engineering, and strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
