Heitman's Chicago office is seeking an Equity or Senior Equity Analyst to join its Public Real Estate Securities team. The role involves developing investment recommendations, building industry expertise across assigned property sectors, conducting company, financial and valuation analysis of publicly traded real estate companies and property markets, maintaining screening models and valuation tools, performing channel checks, evaluating senior management teams, and writing and presenting research reports. Candidates should have 3-5+ years of relevant experience in publicly traded real estate securities, a bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics or a related field, proficiency in Excel and Word, strong communication and writing skills, sound independent decision-making, strong analytical abilities, excellent organisation and attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The position is based in Chicago and operates in a hybrid working environment. The expected annual base salary is $105,000 to $150,000, with eligibility for an annual bonus and benefits.
