Serve as the face of the property and provide a high degree of public interaction. Duties may include assisting residents entering and leaving the building, supervising deliveries and moves, announcing guests, securing cabs, answering resident and guest questions, monitoring cameras, securing entrance doors, acting as a security guard, and answering the telephone after office hours while responding to resident requests or emergencies according to building policies. Various daytime and nighttime shifts are available. Full-time employees must become members of SEIU Local #1, which provides and requires continuing education.
