Growing Manhattan real estate law firm seeks a litigation attorney focused on commercial and residential landlord-tenant matters in New York City Civil Court. Responsibilities include representing landlords, drafting pleadings and substantive motions, conducting settlement and pre-trial conferences, arguing motions, conducting depositions, trying cases, making frequent court appearances, and managing approximately 10 challenging cases within an active caseload of 50 to 70 matters. Candidates need at least six years of commercial landlord-tenant experience, New York practice experience, New York bar admission, strong on-your-feet experience, and strong legal writing ability. Base salary is about $170,000 to $250,000, plus discretionary bonus, benefits, and a Monday through Thursday in-office schedule with remote Fridays.
