The Clinical Child Psychologist provides mental health consultation to multidisciplinary staff, advocates for child clients at clinical staffings and administrative meetings, monitors mental health service developments, visits clients in hospitals, foster homes, schools, and other settings, conducts interviews and assessments, provides recommendations and documentation, develops staff trainings, supervises graduate practicum projects, analyzes client welfare data, and researches evidence-based mental health and child welfare practices. A PhD or PsyD specializing in Clinical Child Psychology, Illinois clinical psychologist licensure, experience with abused and neglected children and adolescents, knowledge of Illinois child welfare practice, strong organizational and communication skills, computer proficiency, an Illinois driver's license, and insurance are required. Travel within and outside Cook County is required. Salary: $162,348. Location: Juvenile Division.
