Loan Factory is seeking a forward-thinking Chief Technology Officer to lead growth through automation, systems design, and AI-driven operations. The role focuses on designing intelligent systems, building scalable processes, leading automation through the Tera team, and leveraging AI to transform operations. Responsibilities include overseeing workflows across loan origination, processing, underwriting, and closing, defining the AI-first technology roadmap, architecting mortgage lifecycle systems, leading cross-functional initiatives, and tracking automation performance and ROI. Required qualifications include deep U.S. mortgage industry experience, the ability to design systems and processes at scale, strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills, experience leading teams or cross-functional initiatives, and comfort with AI tools, automation platforms, and technology ecosystems. Programming or engineering experience is not required. Preferred experience includes LOS platforms such as Encompass or LendingPad, operations or product optimization, automation implementation, and startup or high-growth companies. Benefits include stock options, health, dental and vision insurance, and generous PTO and sick leave. Salary range is $120,000 to $150,000 or more depending on experience.
