Full-time trial attorney position in the Boston, Massachusetts office. The attorney manages cases at various litigation stages, prepares pleadings, briefs, and motions, appears at hearings, trials, and other proceedings, develops litigation strategies, meets with clients and witnesses, litigates appeals when assigned, represents grand jury or trial witnesses, and collaborates with attorneys, investigators, paralegals, IT professionals, and administrative staff. Applicants must have prior trial experience, strong oral advocacy skills, proficiency in federal criminal procedure and legal research and writing, a JD from an accredited law school, admission to practice before the highest court of a state or the District of Columbia, authorization to work in the United States, and eligibility to practice in the relevant federal courts. At least three years of federal criminal defense, state felony defense, or general court martial defense experience is preferred. Salary ranges from $86,923 to $197,100 per year, with federal retirement, savings, leave, holiday, health, life, disability, long-term care, dental, and vision benefits.
