CC Young & Co is seeking an Accountant for its Business Services Department. Duties include preparing year end financial statements for limited companies, limited liability partnerships and sole traders, preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts, working with bookkeepers and trainee accountants to meet client compliance requirements and accounting deadlines, and assisting the Head of Department with ad hoc projects. Applicants require at least 2 years of experience at a music industry accounting firm or similar, ACCA or ACA qualification, and experience in accounts preparation. The role also requires knowledge of CCH Accounts Production Software or similar, Sage Line 50 and Xero, the ability to produce high standard accounts working papers, exercise judgement in presenting financial information, prioritise workloads and manage a client portfolio with guidance, communicate confidently and professionally, work well within a team, adapt to urgent matters, and meet deadlines accurately under pressure.
