Join Cambridge School as an SEMH class teacher, working with a passionate and diverse community of educators to support learners with social, emotional and mental health needs. The role involves differentiating for a wide range of learning needs, promoting positive behaviour for learning, creating imaginative and engaging lessons, supporting learning inside and outside the classroom, and advocating for SEMH learners. Responsibilities include planning and teaching well-structured lessons, monitoring progress through assessment and data, providing constructive feedback, working with colleagues and stakeholders, identifying individual learning needs with the SENCO, adapting teaching materials and pathways, supporting safeguarding, and contributing to community-based learning. Applicants must hold qualified teacher status, have strong communication and subject knowledge, be able to set high expectations and use varied teaching strategies, and be committed to professional development, parent engagement, professional conduct and safeguarding.
