Coinme is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable data solutions for its growing Data and Analytics team. Responsibilities include building and optimizing data pipelines, developing unit-tested data assets, improving data products for performance, scalability, and security, managing data quality, collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and product managers, deploying and maintaining dashboards and machine learning models, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior team members, documenting data flows and ETL processes, monitoring pipeline performance and security, and driving Agile processes. Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, 5 or more years of experience with ETL, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar technologies, strong data modeling and database design skills, experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses, proficiency in Python or R, experience with machine learning and natural language interfaces for business data, and a track record in a fast-paced Agile environment. Experience with AWS, fintech, cryptocurrency, or blockchain is a plus. This is a fully remote position for candidates in Canada, the United States, or LATAM who can work within PST, CST, MST, or EST time zones.
