Coinme is seeking a growth-minded Senior Engineer to report to the Engineering Manager and build software and integrations for accepting, disseminating, and liquidating fiat and crypto funds used in customer transactions. Responsibilities include designing solutions for complex technical and business problems, developing scalable software systems and components, writing performant and maintainable code, authoring unit and integration tests, participating in Scrum planning, driving engineering excellence, operational stability, and security, contributing to architecture discussions and feature delivery, mentoring engineers, and supporting recruiting. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience, 5+ years of software development experience, experience building scalable services and distributed systems in Java or a similar object-oriented language, and experience with technical design, readable and scalable code, Agile development, and cross-functional communication. Required technology skills include Java and Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar technology, RESTful APIs, MySQL, and Kubernetes or cloud development platforms. Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is required.
