Blitz is seeking a Job Captain for its San Francisco and Los Angeles studios with a minimum of seven years of experience at architecture or commercial interior design firms. The role provides technical translation of project design, delivers rigorous documentation under the Lead Designer's supervision, and develops and coordinates architectural drawings with a focus on constructability, code compliance, external partner coordination, and Blitz delivery standards. The ideal candidate is a talented technical designer who is highly organized and experienced in interiors or workplace design. Requirements include an accredited degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Graphic Design, REVIT proficiency, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator proficiency, excellent 3D rendering skills, commercial interiors experience, strong technical and design skills, knowledge of applicable building codes, construction documentation and detailing experience, and the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, public agencies, and jurisdictions. Candidates must reside in the United States, have unrestricted US work authorization, communicate and organize effectively, and be able to travel to other studios as required. Full-time benefits include four weeks of PTO, nine paid holidays, flexible hybrid work with three days in studio, medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, continuing education support, and a salary range of $90,000 to $115,000.
