Help Silverchain clients in East and South Perth stay socially active and connected to their community. Collect clients from their homes, transport them to medical appointments, community clubs, family members or friends, and ensure they return home safely. Applicants need to be available between 8.30am and 4.30pm on weekdays, be experienced and safe drivers with a current Australian driver's licence, and have access to a roadworthy car with minimum third party insurance. Applicants must be aged 18 or over, complete a National Police check application, and commit to the role for a minimum of six months. Great interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and an enjoyment of spending time with older people are required. Hours are flexible and may count towards Centrelink requirements. Some mileage costs may be reimbursed.
