Join the Scholarly Communications Lab for a one-year research stay as part of the SSHRC-funded Sharing Health Research project, examining the online communication of health science. The successful applicant will collaborate with the team on a project of their own design focused on the public communication of scientific uncertainty and/or the online circulation of health-related preprints. Applicants should have a PhD or set defence date, the ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team, the ability to conceive and execute a project within a one-year timeline, excellent interpersonal skills, fluency in written and verbal English, deep disciplinary knowledge, and interdisciplinary curiosity. The fellowship provides access to data, tools, methodologies, and Simon Fraser University computing and library resources. Postdoctoral fellows are employees and receive benefits. The gross salary is $60,000 CAD annually, with additional funding potentially available for agreed conference presentations. The position deadline has passed.
