Coordinate construction-related administrative functions at the site construction office, with progression to an Assistant Site Superintendent role within a 6 to 12 month timeline upon satisfactory job performance. Responsibilities include coordinating daily activities between site management, head office and trades, ordering materials and supplies, maintaining delivery, hoist, storage and security schedules, coordinating vendors and deliveries, processing invoices and delivery slips, managing project documents, maintaining Health and Safety documentation, preparing reports, organizing site meetings, recording timesheets, monitoring project schedules, and assisting with quality control, inspections, deficiency tracking and closeout documentation. Qualifications include 3 to 4 years of residential high-rise construction experience, a university degree or college diploma in engineering, construction management or business administration, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, strong MS Office skills, the ability to interpret drawings, specifications and contracts, and familiarity with Ontario Ministry of Labour and Occupational Health and Safety rules.
