Linden Tree Nursery Schools recruit staff to support the well-being, care, education and development of children and families. Staff work within Early Years Foundation Stage ratios and use a key person approach, with responsibilities including curriculum planning, discussing children's progress, following nursery policies and procedures, maintaining safeguarding and health and safety standards, and completing daily tasks and routines. The setting provides induction, statutory safeguarding training, an introduction to the Froebelian approach, regular supervision, appraisals and ongoing training. Applicants are considered through non-discriminatory recruitment procedures, with enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks required for staff and volunteers who have unsupervised access to children. The Manager and senior staff hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, and at least half of staff hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
