Provides Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and their families with emotional, social, cultural and practical support during their hospital stay. Support includes information about patients' rights and responsibilities, legal services and child protection services, assistance with Centrelink payments, IPTAAS, accommodation, Housing NSW, Residential Aged Care, My Aged Care, NDIS and culturally appropriate services, as well as support with separation, grief or loss, uncertainty, loneliness and anxiety about illness.
