An injection into the eye given in the eye clinic by a doctor. The eye is numbed and cleaned before the medication is injected through the white part of the eye using a very fine needle. Further injections may be required because the medicine is cleared from the eye after around 4 weeks. Avoid swimming and try to avoid getting water into the eye for 7 days after the injection.
