Jamal Law Group is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic family lawyer to join its growing team. The ideal candidate has previous general litigation and/or family law experience, good practice management skills, and experience running files independently. Knowledge of family law matters including separation agreements, spousal maintenance, asset division, hearings, discoveries, mediations, and trials is required, while experience with alternate dispute resolution is an asset. Applicants must be members of the BC Bar in good standing, legally entitled to practise law in Canada, able to manage an organized caseload with little to no supervision, and have previous trial experience, strong business acumen, verbal, negotiation, interpersonal and drafting skills, excellent client service and communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines and exercise discretion and exceptional judgment.
