An ultrasound procedure to assess the uterus and check whether the fallopian tubes are open or blocked. Includes a pelvic ultrasound and injection of ultrasound contrast through a small tube inserted into the uterus. Patients should book between day 6 and day 11 of a 28-day menstrual cycle, abstain from intercourse from the start of their period until after the test, and take the recommended pain relief beforehand. Mild cramping or discomfort may occur.
