at Devonshire Diagnostic Centre · London

Details.

The nerves supplying the sweat glands are cut under general anaesthetic. Where necessary, partial removal of involved nerve fibres and ganglia in the spine is performed. The procedure is permanent and can eliminate excessive sweating in the hands and underarms, but carries a 40-69% risk of compensatory hyperhidrosis.
