Blitz is seeking a Project Architect to assist with the design, documentation, and construction administration of K-12 projects in Sonoma County, as well as other project typologies in Sonoma County, the Bay Area, and globally. The hybrid role is primarily remote for candidates not within a 30-minute drive of the San Francisco studio, with weekly on-site meetings in Sonoma County and in-person studio work one day every other week. The role leads projects from concept design through construction, coordinates architectural drawings with a focus on constructability and code compliance, manages consultant coordination, supports client relationships, and leads teams of designers. Candidates should have 10 or more years of professional experience, an accredited architecture degree, a California architecture license, REVIT proficiency, and experience with public K-12 educational design, DSA, construction administration, specifications, technical design, and consultant management. Candidates must reside in the United States, have unrestricted work authorization, communicate effectively, work collaboratively across multiple projects and deadlines, and be able to travel to other studios as required. Benefits include four weeks of PTO, nine paid holidays, flexible hybrid work, medical, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) with matching, continuing education support, California license fee reimbursement, and a salary range of $110,000 to $135,000.
