Heitman's Chicago office is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Capital Markets to support debt capital raising and management across property and fund-level holdings. Responsibilities include managing financing activity, evaluating financing strategies, sourcing debt capital, preparing loan request packages, coordinating lender underwriting responses, evaluating loan quotes, assisting with closings, reviewing loan documents, and managing lender relationships. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business or a related field, experience in real estate finance or equity investment analysis, preferably 5 to 7 years of experience with a lender or debt broker, strong communication and analytical skills, loan documentation negotiation experience, and proficiency with Argus, Excel, word processing, spreadsheet, PDF, and PowerPoint applications. The position is based in the Chicago office in a hybrid work environment. The expected annual base salary range is $120,000 to $140,000, and the role is eligible for an annual bonus plan and benefits.
