Lead the concept, schematic and design development phases of projects, ensuring client briefs are delivered to a high standard. Responsibilities include developing design concepts, creating thoughtful designs, preparing client presentations, collaborating with project leaders, clients and consultants, keeping current with design trends, and mentoring team members. Candidates should have 6+ years of postgraduate local architectural experience, particularly in multi-residential or high-end residential projects, ideally Australian Architect registration, proficiency in ArchiCAD and other design software including SketchUp and Photoshop, creative and strategic design thinking, strong communication and team management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
