McCarter & English, LLP is seeking an IP/IT paralegal for its New York, Boston, or Newark offices. Three years of experience is required, including domestic trademark prosecution and oppositions, involvement in managing similar foreign filings through foreign counsel, trademark clearance searches, and organizing and coordinating internal and external correspondence and an active calendar. The role includes conducting clearance searches, preparing and filing trademark documents with the USPTO and foreign trademark offices, managing the trademark docket and deadlines, corresponding with clients, and supporting litigation and enforcement matters. Strong computer skills and experience with Computer Packages Inc. (CPI), SAEGIS, and Microsoft Office are required. Candidates should be highly motivated, professional, detail-oriented, able to exercise independent judgment, communicate effectively, meet deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $118,000 depending on experience.
